Program Description: The Linguistics Program (http://ling.bu.edu) enables students to study human language from a variety of perspectives and to consider the relationship between linguistics and other disciplines. We offer an undergraduate major and minor in Linguistics, as well as joint majors that combine Linguistics with French, Italian, Japanese, Spanish, and Philosophy. We also offer MA and PhD programs in Applied Linguistics, although we are not currently accepting new applications for the PhD program.
