Query:   Dear all,

I am looking for experiments/theoretical essays that have been done using or examining the ''comic book medium'' (i.e. sequential images with or without accompanying text). Generally, I am interested in works pertaining directly to the visual components or their multimodal connection to written words, though any and all sources will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.
