I am from Oceanside, California. I came to Eastern Michigan University
for the opportunity to run NCAA Division 1 Track and Field as a sprinter.
After my athletic eligibility ended, I realized that my interests in Linguistics
and academia could continue to afford me a highly rewarding outlet far into the future.
I am now a second year graduate student in the linguistics department.
I also enjoy snowboarding and playing soccer.
