DEPT. OF EAST ASIAN LANGUAGES AND LITERATURES, OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY The Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures at The Ohio State University is seeking candidates for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in Korean language or culture for the 1995- 1996 academic year. The duties of the position include the teaching of courses in both Korean language and culture. Candidates should be fluent in both Korean and English, have a demonstrated ability to do original research, and hold the Ph.D. in Korean language, literature, culture, or related fields, and must have the Ph.D. in hand by September 1995. Preference will be given to applicants with teaching experience in Korean language and interest in language pedagogy. Salary: Commensurate with experience and competitive. DEADLINE: May 31, 1995 Note, however, that review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. Candidates should send a letter of application, a current vita, at least three letters of reference, and representative samples of their research.
