Meeting Description:

The conference strives to provide meaningful coverage on current trends on all aspects of Nuba Mountain languages. It will focus on descriptive linguistics, comparative linguistics and anthropology.

Call for Papers:

We are pleased to invite you to participate to the 2nd Nuba Mountain Languages Conference to be held in Paris, in August 28-30 2014.

Abstracts are invited for conference presentations addressing any aspect of the analysis, description or comparison of the Nuba Mountain Languages. Abstracts in English should be no longer than 500 words, including examples and references. All abstracts will be reviewed anonymously by at
least two reviewers.

All theoretical approaches are welcome, but abstracts should provide a clear indication of the relevance of its conclusions for a broad audience of linguists and anthropologists interested in the languages of
the Nuba Mountains.

Abstracts should be submitted as an MS Word file to the following address: nubalangvjf.cnrs.fr

A suggested outline for abstracts can be found in the attached file or at the following address: http://nmlc2.sciencesconf.org/resource/page/id/1.

Please make sure that you use a Unicode compliant font and that you do not use your name in the file name of your abstract. Please send two versions of your abstract. One should be anonymous, and one should include your name, affiliation and email at the top of the page, directly below the title.

Deadline for abstracts: December 15, 2013
Notification of acceptance: January 15, 2014
