Meeting Description:

The 9th Semantics in the Netherlands day will be organized by the Utrecht Institute of Linguistics (UIL-OTS). The SiNday offers graduate students a platform to present their research in any area of natural language semantics. SiN IX will be concluded with an invited lecture by Luisa Martí (Queen Mary London).

Call for Papers:

We invite all PhD and MA students affiliated with any of the Dutch universities to present their current research. If you are interested, send an abstract with a maximum length of one page as a PDF to s.alexandropouloustudents.uu.nl. Please specify in the body of the e-mail:

The title of your presentation
The name and contact address of the author(s)

Time allotted for presentations is in principle 20 minutes followed by 5 minutes of discussion. This can vary depending on the number of submissions. The deadline for submission is October 20th. Notifications of acceptance will be sent around October 23rd.
