Meeting Description:

We are starting summer workshops about Natural Syntax at the University of
Ljubljana, Slovenia. The workshops will be dedicated to the verification and/or
refutation of Natural Syntax with the help of language material culled from
various languages. A workshop is to be held for two weeks every August. The
language of the workshop: basically English.

We encourage linguists and students of language (incl. undergraduates) to apply.
Applications should contain the applicant's biography, bibliography (if any) and
a brief description of the current interests in the field of languages. The
application should be sent by postal mail or email and addressed to

Deadline for applications: June 1 every year.
This Year the LINGUIST List hopes to raise $65,000. This money will go to help
