The theme of the XXIII FIPLV World Congress is 'The Challenges within the
Multicultural and Multilingual World in the 21st Century', Moscow, 2-4 July 2009.

The Organizing Committee, Professor Irina Khaleeva (MSLU Rector), Mr Denis
Cunningham (FIPLV Secretary General) and Dr Cecilia Odé (FIPLV Editor of
Publications), invites you to discuss the following themes:

1) Teaching and learning modern languages
2) Linguistic policies - diversity or protection?
3) Everyday experiences in language teaching

Congress languages: English, French, German, Russian.

Abstracts are to be submitted before 1 May 2009.
Notification of acceptance before 1 June 2009.
Early bird registration: before 1 March 2009 250,00, after 1 March 300,00.

Registration fee covers coffee/tea breaks, technical equipment, welcome dinner
