The Linguistic Society of India (LSI) will hold the 31st All-India Conference of Linguists (AICL-2009) at the University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad, India during 15-17 December, 2009 with the University of Hyderabad, the Central Institute of Indian Languages, and the International Institute of Information Technology as the co-sponsors. ‘Advancement of the scientific study of language’ being the primary object of LSI, AICLs are held annually for promoting dialogue and interaction among researchers in the field from India and abroad.
