University or Organization: University of Louisiana at Lafayette Department: Dept of Communicative Disorders Rank of Job: Assistant/Associate Professor Specialty Areas: Speech Language Pathology Description: The Department of Communicative Disorders at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette announces a position for an Assistant/Associate Professor in Speech and Language Pathology, tenure track position to begin August 2003. Responsibilities include teaching doctoral, graduate and undergraduate courses; conducting research in areas of expertise; providing service to the department and University including some clinical supervision. Required qualifications include a doctoral degree in Communicative Disorders or related area; the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology and eligibility for Louisiana license; evidence of scholarly activity - multiple publications preferred; expertise in two of the following: augmentative/alternative communication, multiple handicapped, early intervention, traumatic brain injury, or phonological and articulatory disorders.
