University or Organization: Rutgers University Department: Linguistics Rank of Job: Assistant Professor Specialty Areas: Phonology Description: The department of linguistics at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, New Brunswick Campus has a one-year position at the assistant professor level for academic year 2003-04. Applicants must have a Ph.D. by August 2003, with a specialization in Phonology. Duties will include teaching four classes, two graduate level classes in phonology, and two sections of undergraduate introduction to linguistics. The salary will be $42,000.
