Description:

Department of Japanese Language Education, Faculty of Education,
Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University in Turkey invites applications for a
full-time position of instructor of Japanese beginning September 2004.

This is a one-year appointment with the possibility of renewal.
Responsibilities will include teaching or co- teaching Japanese
language at all levels, introductory level of Japanese literature
courses and a moderate amount of administrative work and
extracurricular activities such as course registration or speech
contests.

Applicants preferably have an M.A. in Japanese (applied-)linguistics,
literature, education, or social sciences with completion of a formal
training programme of Teaching Japanese as a Foreign Language.
