With the Pope's resignation there have been several stories circulating that highlight the role language has played in this event.
1) The Economist discusses the languages of the Pope's official Twitter.
2) Giovanna Chirri, Italian reporter, was the first reporter in the world to break the news of the Pope's resignation because she understood the Pope's message in Latin.
